up with Chris Meloche to develop musical and electronic treatments of several pieces. "4shadowing," for
instance consists of only one word recorded directly onto the computer, then stretched and put through
a process called granular synthesis, which allowed them to manipulate the tiniest aspects of sound in
real time. Other pieces in the collection were recorded live, in real time, with no overdubbing or
post-production work. |
