Florida Ann Town has worked for the Vancouver Sun, writing for the children's page and the
sports department, and for The Province. She has also written copy for radio stations and
done media and public relations for Canada Post and Simon Fraser University. She studied
communications and education while at Simon Fraser University, and she was was a founding
member of the Lost Dog Singers. Florida Town's previous books include Alexander Graham Bell,
Simon Fraser: A Voyage of Discovery (co-written by Liz Allen) and The North West Company:
Frontier Merchants. Florida Town and her husband live in Port Coquitlam, BC. |
